What exactly is Mistiq?

Mistiq makes its own eau de parfum, blended and bottled in the United Kingdom to our own formulations. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other fragrance house, and we do not sell other brands' products.

How strong are your fragrances?

Everything we make is eau de parfum concentration — 18–20% fragrance oil. That means better projection and longer wear than an eau de toilette, which typically sits around 8–12%.

How long do they last?

It depends on the scent. Fresh, citrus and aquatic compositions give roughly 6–9 hours — those molecules are small and volatile, and that is true of every brand, not just ours. Woody, oriental and gourmand scents run 10–12 hours, and longer on fabric.

What size should I buy?

The 20ml is a good way to test a scent you already like the sound of, or to keep in a bag. The 50ml is our most popular. The 100ml is the best value per millilitre if you already know it suits you.

I can't smell it through a screen. What do I do?

Start with a Discovery Set — eight 2ml atomisers for £15, in a For Him or For Her selection, with enough in each for several full wears rather than a single spray on a card. The £15 is credited back against your first full bottle, so trying costs you nothing in the end.

Are your fragrances tested on animals?

No. Nothing we make is tested on animals. Animal testing of cosmetics and of cosmetic ingredients has been banned in the UK since 1998, and we do not sell in any market that requires it.

Are they vegan?

Yes — every fragrance we make is vegan, with no animal-derived ingredients. Where a note is traditionally animal-derived, such as musk, civet or ambergris, we use synthetic reconstructions. These are the industry standard now and, in most cases, better behaved than the originals.

Do you offer samples with orders?

We don't include free samples with orders. The Discovery Set is our answer instead — eight 2ml atomisers for £15, with the £15 credited back against your first full bottle. It is a more useful amount of fragrance than a sample vial, and it costs you nothing if you go on to buy.

How do I make my fragrance last longer?

Spray onto moisturised skin at pulse points — wrists, neck, inner elbows. Do not rub your wrists together; it crushes the top notes. Store bottles away from direct sunlight and radiators.
